Over the years, tons of teleprompter software has been developed for Mac’s, most of it poorly written and unusable. It’s come a long ways since the early days, even including features such as voice activated teleprompting and the ability to mirror flip PowerPoint slides. First, connect your Mac and TV under the same network. Click the AirPlay icon on your Mac. Tap the name of your Apple TV. If an AirPlay passcode popped on your screen, just enter the passcode on your Mac to begin the mirroring.
I suspect that, when the 10.5 disk was formatted, the option of 'include OS9 drivers' was not selected. That's gong to take annther reformatting, I'm afraid.
OS9 can run from the same partition as OSX but I always separate mine. There are times that saved a trip to the service center, when the OSX partition went walkabout (not uncommon with OS 10.2) and I was able to boot into the OS9 partition and effect some repairs from there.
The version of OS9 that came on your MDDs install/restore disks is the only one that is bootable from an MDD. Be certain to keep that disk in a safe place!

If you separate the startup volumes, remember OS9 cannot boot from a volume larger than about 195GB. When I put two 250GB drives in my MDD, I had to partition one to allow OS9 to boot.
