THREADED Mac OS

A POSIX standard (IEEE 1003.1c) API for thread creation and synchronization API specifies behavior of the thread library, implementation is up to development of the library Common in UNIX operating systems (Solaris, Linux, Mac OS X) Windows Threads Implements the one-to-one mapping Each thread contains A thread id Register set. I have an issue causing an app crash when the background thread (in a shelled process) has been ignored for too long and Mac OS setting its Zombie flag so that I can’t wake it up again. From one of the crash reports: Effective Thread QoS Default, Requested Thread QoS Default, Override Thread QoS Unspecified. I’m clutching at straws here.

In order to do a Mac client, they would need an entirely new game engine. The one used for SWTOR does not support the Mac. The same goes for Linux.

Note: That doesn't mean I don't support the idea of a Mac client, it's just not possible using the current engine.

These are all Mac operating systems, starting with the most recent. When a major new macOS is released, it gets a new name, such as macOS Big Sur. As updates that change the macOS version number become available, this article is updated to show the latest version of that macOS.

If your Mac is using an earlier version of any Mac operating system, you should install the latest Apple software updates, which can include important security updates and updates for the apps that are installed by macOS, such as Safari, Books, Messages, Mail, Music, Calendar, and Photos.
